Harry Adams, Captain of Onyx 

A retired commercial fisherman beginning in this industry building commercial fishing boats beside his father, Duke Adams.  While growing up here in Crescent City, Harry began commercial fishing at the age of 14, continuing to fish through high school and the remainder of his career. 

During his fishing career he traveled by commercial boats up and down the West Coast harbors from Mexico to the top of the Aleutian Chain.

He has always been passionate about spending time on the water and continues to sport fish.  You can find him on his boat at every opportunity, speaking with other fisherman daily about their concerns and interests.

Not only is he confidant and competent on the ocean, he has had his own commercial and personal watercraft the entirety of his life fishing off this portion of the West Coast.  He is also Crescent City Harbor Commissioner, allowing him to remain current with all issues related to commerce, fishing, and community involvement for Del Norte County.
